Cosplay

I finally decided that I might as well jump in and try my hand at cosplay.  I've never actually done any form of  cosplay before, unless you count trick or treating as a Star Trek ensign (I made my own costume for that, yeah!)  But I'm going to be working on a Tomb Raider Legend Classic outfit for my first attempt.  There's a big anime fest sort of thing up here every year that is in June, so hopefully I'm able to have a semi decent outfit made by then.

My first attempt at the TRLE outfit...well, it's not accurate, but it's better than a paper bag.  I just cut off a dark green shirt, bought a white bandeau and got a pair of brown booty shorts.  The boots I actually spent real money on, as I figured might as well get a quality pair too.  I really like them, I put Dr. Scholls inserts in them so they are very comfortable as well.  I realize Lara's shirt in Legend is actually like a light brown color, so I'm going to try and make my own using the old shirt as a pattern.  I'm going to try to make the sleeves longer as well, since she has slighlty longer sleeves in the picture than an actual t-shirt would normally have.

Side Note:  I'm an atrocious sewer, but I have one hell of a nice sewing machine...the odds may not be in my favor but at least their not against me...yet...  I'll get back to ya once I have the shirt pattern figured out.

Yeah and that brush is my H&K USP, nice huh?

These exact boots aren't available any more, at least not from where I got them, but I would bet that eBay has something similar.
