Got rewarded for 'slaying' the monster, but not half as well as I'd have liked.  Am setting out tonight in search of a dog a blacksmith claims to have lost.  He promised a reward.  I feel so stupid running errands like this but how else will i ever be able to afford equiptment?  The Jarl of Falkreath(a pompous youg whip) gave me the honoryary title of Thane and told me I was free to purchase land in his district.  What good that does me I know not.
