Sundas, 8:15 PM, 16th of Sun's Dusk

I spoke with Arngier this morning and after some reluctance he divulged what knowledge he had of the elder scrolls.  Which was very little.  He told me that my best hope would be to go to Winterhold and inquire at the Mage's Guild there.  That sounded reasonable enough to me, so Erandur and I set off after a quick breakfast.

By the time we arrived in Winterhold a horrific blizzard had set in, we considered staying at the inn, but decided against it, and made out way into the college instead.  They mage's were hesitant to help me, and refused to even give me entrance (despite the blizzard) until I told them my purpose in coming to the college, and revealed that I was dragon-born   Then they were more than willing to help.  They made me an honorary member on the spot, gave me a tour of the college, and even had me listen in on one of their lectures before they finally answered my questions.  I spoke to the Orc who runs the library.  Brutish, irritable fellow, but he did have a clue as to who may know where an elder scroll is.  My only clue is this book he had, written by a crazed scholar who apparently, 'disappeared up north'.  It sounds as if this scholar has had first hand experience with the elder scrolls.  Well, I'm stocking up on firewood and brandy.  And then we are off to find an elder scroll!
