House Trained Zombies FTW!!

He's called Fido, he can heel, fetch and deliver the paper.  He's will protect your children from bullies and will never wander off.  And he closely resembles your recently deceased grandfather.  That's right, i have a pet zombie.

So basically if you're not already leaping to netflix or the library or whatever to rent 'Fido,' you totally need too, funniest movie I've seen in a while.  Even better than Warriors Way.  (The clown shot a ninja!!!)

On another note, The lamb stew last night was Delicious! i'm still debating whether it was just wonderfully tender stew meat already, or if the 2.5 hour braising made it melt in the mouth like that.  Either way it was cooked to perfection.  The blanched peas and beans garnish contrasted nicely with the reddish stew liqued as did the addition of pearl onions, cooked a brun in a little hot butter and then thrown into the stew whole.  The precooking removes a lot of that strong onion-y taste and just leaves you with the tender crunch and a mild flavor.  One thing i did learn though...don't try to tourne a onion...it just isn't gonna happen...you can tourne carrots and potatoes all day...but onions...not so much...
